Kodely Leader- Tampa ($30/Hour)

At Kodely, you’ll be part of a team that creates hands-on, engaging experiences for the next generation of innovators. One of our most creative offerings is the Rube Goldberg Engineering Lab, where students design and build imaginative chain-reaction machines. These projects teach the fundamentals of engineering, problem-solving, and teamwork while giving students the chance to express their creativity in a fun and interactive way.

This flexible, part-time role in Tampa is ideal for anyone looking to do impactful work with students in a project-based learning environment. We offer competitive pay ($30–$40/hour), and hours worked can count toward internship credit if needed. No prior teaching credential is required — just a passion for working with kids and guiding them through hands-on STEM challenges.

Qualifications & Skills

Dependable and punctual

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Confident in leadership and classroom facilitation, with the ability to follow and implement lesson plans

Motivated, personable, and enjoys working with students in grades 3–5

Comfortable supporting students in STEM projects and creative problem-solving

Eligible to work in the United States, able to pass a criminal background check, and provide a TB Risk Assessment Questionnaire completed by a licensed health care provider

Education & Experience

College degree preferred, but current undergraduate or graduate students are encouraged to apply

Junior Leader positions are open to high school students with relevant experience

Experience in leadership, working with kids, coaching, or classroom facilitation is strongly preferred

Background in STEM, engineering, or maker-centered learning is a plus
