Sales & Marketing Intern - Spring 2026

Embarc Collective, a 501c3 non-profit, is the central landing zone for the most driven and focused startup builders in Florida.

 

Through a partnership with the Genspiration Foundation, Embarc Collective provides internship opportunities to top USF and FUSE transfer program students at high-growth companies building at Embarc Collective.

Fabrics Inc. is a Tampa-based SaaS company transforming how organizations manage and optimize their public cloud environments. Our platform delivers dynamic, real-time cloud optimization across Azure and AWS—automatically adjusting compute, storage, and network resources every five minutes to eliminate waste, improve performance, and drive capital efficiency.

Founded by industry veterans with deep cloud, automation, and FinOps expertise, Fabrics is trusted by enterprises and fast-growing startups to control cloud sprawl, reduce costs by 20–40%, and remove the operational burden of manual infrastructure management. We are scaling quickly and building a category-defining solution in one of the fastest-growing segments of cloud technology.

 

Role Overview

The Sales & Marketing Intern will work closely with the CRO and Go-To-Market leadership to support brand growth, demand generation, sales enablement, and customer engagement. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone interested in SaaS, cloud computing, marketing strategy, and the start-up ecosystem.

 

Primary Focus Areas (What You’ll Do)

  • Assist with developing and executing digital marketing campaigns across LinkedIn, YouTube, email, and partner channels.
  • Support sales outreach efforts—building targeted prospect lists, refining messaging, and helping organize outbound sequences.
  • Conduct market research on cloud optimization, FinOps trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Create marketing assets and collateral (graphics, one-pagers, social content, presentations).
  • Assist with event prep for Fabrics-led webinars, community events, and Embarc Collective sessions.
  • Help analyze performance data from marketing campaigns and recommend improvements.
  • Support CRM hygiene (HubSpot) and sales pipeline organization.
  • Participate in team meetings, strategy sessions, and customer calls when appropriate.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Currently a USF or FUSE program student from: Hillsborough Community College, St. Petersburg College, College of Central Florida, Pasco-Hernando State College, Polk State College, Santa Fe College, South Florida State College, State College of Florida
  • Strong communication skills—written and verbal.
  • Interest in sales, marketing, cloud technology, SaaS, or the startup ecosystem.
  • Ability to research, synthesize information, and present insights clearly.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms (especially LinkedIn + YouTube).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
  • Self-starter mindset—curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced team.

 

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Familiarity with Zoho, Apollo, HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRM tools.
  • Experience designing visuals using Canva or basic design tools.
  • Previous internship experience in tech, business, marketing, or communications.
  • Interest in cloud computing, FinOps, automation, or B2B tech.

Internship Details

Duration: Spring 2026 (February - April, flexible dates)

Location: In-office

$3,000 stipend

Hours: 10-20 hours per week (to be determined with company)
