Field Service Technician
We are seeking motivated, hands-on BMETs, Field Service Engineers, and technicians with a passion for problem-solving and delivering high-quality service. This is a flexible, project-based opportunity where you can select jobs aligned with your skills and location.
You will support preventive maintenance, repair, calibration, and installation of medical equipment across healthcare environments, with full administrative and operational support from MedServ.
This is a structured installation support engagement for a high-impact window, working alongside Lead Field Service Engineers in a NICU clinical environment.
𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀:
𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: GE MIC Giraffe Omni units and Panda Warmers
𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴: Positioning units within clinical areas
𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆: Mechanical assembly and subsystem integration assistance
𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: Power connection, cable routing, and accessory mounting
𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Functional verification support alongside the Lead FSE
𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Installation documentation and checklist completion
𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲: Installation is confirmed for May 11 – May 14, 2026.
𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀:
𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲: Approximately 20 hours over 2–3 days
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: $30/hour
𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: 8 hours of online OEM installation training required prior to deployment
𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Independent contractor / Assistant Field Engineer role
𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆:
• Semi-Skilled Technicians / BMET I technicians
• Technicians with installation or deployment experience
• Individuals comfortable working alongside senior FSEs
• Candidates located within driving distance of Lakeland, FL
