Social Media Marketing Intern

WMNF is seeking interns with a passion for social media marketing. We are looking for creative interns who have strong working knowledge of major social media platforms. This semester long internship will give interns hands-on social media marketing experience in a professional workplace. Interns will be eligible to receive university credit for their work. 

Qualifications:

● Current student or recent graduate in communications, marketing, or a related field.
● Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
● Familiarity with social media management tools is a plus.
● Passion for community radio, non-profits, and social justice.

What you will be doing:

● Research for WMNF shoutouts
● Assist with Spam management
● Assist with follower engagement by responding to comments and messages.
● Assist with recurring posts via provided templates
● Assistance with organization of existing media
● Craft recurring stories
● May be given a specialty task based on experience
