# School Leader Incubator Internship 
Purpose-Centered Program for Aspiring School Leaders - An internship and incubator

## Position Overview
The Voice Up Program is seeking aspiring school leaders to join our Purpose-Centered Leadership Development Program. This transformative opportunity allows future educational leaders to gain practical experience implementing the Voice Up Theory for Learning—an innovative educational framework currently being incubated with multiple community and school partners worldwide. Participants will learn to create purpose-driven educational environments while mentoring students and developing essential leadership skills.

## About Voice Up
Voice Up has expanded to 490 cities across 29 countries in just 6 months, demonstrating the powerful impact of our purpose-centered learning approach. Our theory is built on the belief that people learn most effectively when their learning directly connects to their purpose, and that each person possesses unique talents and abilities that, when developed in connection with a clear purpose, can create meaningful impact in communities and the world.

## Program Focus
In this role, aspiring school leaders will select one of three tracks, choosing to mentor either middle school students, high school students, or college freshmen. By applying the Voice Up Theory's four-step process within their chosen age group, participants will gain valuable experience in purpose-centered educational leadership while helping students:
- Discover their evolving purpose
- Find their passions and connect them to helping others
- Develop effective communication skills
- Navigate their growth journey with proper support

## Internship Tracks
Aspiring school leaders will select one of the following three tracks:

### Middle School Track
Leading purpose-driven initiatives with middle school students (ages 11-14) with focus on:
- Designing curriculum that integrates purpose exploration with academic standards
- Creating safe school environments that reduce anxiety and build student confidence
- Implementing early intervention strategies that use purpose as a foundation for positive mental health
- Developing programs that help students connect emerging interests to meaningful activities
- Creating classroom management approaches that promote emotional regulation through purpose-driven activities
- Building inclusive school communities that foster belonging within diverse peer groups
- Implementing behavioral support systems that channel energy toward purposeful goals
- Establishing resilience-building practices during this critical developmental period

### High School Track
Leading purpose-driven initiatives with high school students (ages 14-18) with focus on:
- Creating educational pathways that connect deeper purpose exploration to future aspirations
- Developing strategies to address academic pressure through purpose-centered perspective
- Implementing programs that foster self-awareness and emotional intelligence
- Designing curriculum that connects personal values to educational and career choices
- Establishing peer support systems that reduce isolation and anxiety
- Creating decision-making frameworks that incorporate purpose-driven thinking
- Building school cultures that value authentic self-expression
- Developing prevention programs for risk behaviors by strengthening purpose connections

### College Freshman Track
Leading purpose-driven initiatives with college freshmen (ages 18-20) with focus on:
- Creating orientation programs that facilitate higher education transition through purpose alignment
- Developing support systems that address independence challenges with purpose-centered grounding
- Designing academic advising approaches that connect course selection to broader life purpose
- Building supportive campus communities during significant life transitions
- Implementing mental health initiatives that reduce anxiety, depression, and loneliness through purpose connections
- Creating workshops on healthy coping strategies rooted in personal purpose
- Facilitating identity development programs during this transformative period
- Establishing resilience-building initiatives for academic and social challenges

## Responsibilities
- Lead small group mentoring sessions twice weekly with your selected age group
- Develop and implement purpose-driven curriculum based on the Voice Up methodology
- Create psychologically safe learning environments where students can authentically share
- Design and evaluate programs that connect purpose development to mental health outcomes
- Participate in professional learning communities with other aspiring leaders
- Collaborate with school administrators and program directors
- Guide students in designing and implementing social impact projects (minimum 3-month duration)
- Document student growth, mental health improvements, and program outcomes
- Apply leadership skills to advocate for purpose-centered educational approaches

## Qualifications
- Strong commitment to the Voice Up core principles: collaboration, humility, precision, patience, and empathy
- Background in education or related field (teaching experience preferred but not required)
- Demonstrated interest in educational leadership and purpose-driven learning
- Excellent communication and community-building skills
- Ability to connect with students across different age groups
- Willingness to implement and evaluate the Voice Up Theory
- Innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Reliability and strong organizational leadership skills

## Compensation Options
This program can be structured as:
- Academic credit
- Volunteer position
- Potential stipend (based on qualifications and program funding)
